About the Team
Digital Product sits at the intersection of user needs, business goals, and technology. As a discipline, we aim to build digital experiences that inspire prospective, first-time, and lifelong tattoo wearers to feel excited and confident about their next tattoo by connecting the dots across a very fragmented industry. Put differently, our mission is to transform Ephemeral into the one-stop destination for all things tattoo through best-in-class digital experiences. The team is led by Ephemeral’s VP of Growth and Product.
About the Role
As the Senior Product Manager on our Internal Tools team, you will envision and build tools and systems that empower our Studio Leaders, CX’ers, and tattoo artists to deliver a best-in-class in-studio tattoo experience across our 5 studios (and growing!). The end-to-end tools and infrastructure that you build and manage will measurably impact both our studio team member’s productivity and will play a critical role in our infrastructure that brings our online and offline worlds together.
Our ideal candidate has a strong handle on people, processes, and technology, and understands how these three elements work together. As such you are balanced when it comes to understanding user needs, business processes, and backend technologies.
You will work directly with Studio Leaders, Tattoo Artists, and CX’ers as well as our Head of Studios and Studio Operations team, and will partner closely with our Sr. Software Engineer and Director of Engineering to ensure the features we build are flexible, performant, and stable. In addition to working and communicating cross-functionally, you will also leverage customer support feedback and conduct in-studio research/interviews to inform your roadmap.
This role is full-time and will be compensated at $115,000 - $155,000 per year.

Will craft a product strategy and roadmap for our Dashboard, which effectively serves as our early-stage Order Management System and Customer Relationship Management tool.
Will create the vision for our backend tooling with a strong focus on how all our systems work together from the site to booking to the dashboard to our data warehouse.
Will partner directly with the Director of Software Engineering to make key decisions around buy vs. build.
Will pilot and roll out new features along with new processes that empower our studio teams and artists to deliver a golden standard experience to all our customers.
We’re excited about you because you…
Have 4-6 years of Product Management experience driving product strategy and execution, ideally for internal tools at B2C brands or CRM or OMS related work.
Have a proven ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts across technical and non-technical partners and stakeholders.
Are willing to dive “into the weeds” and work through key details with engineers in order to prioritize and advocate for the highest impact work, and to get to MVP in a way that balances speed with future scalability.
Can leverage and decipher a combination of quantitative and qualitative studio data/feedback to design the desired customer experience across studio and consumer-facing support products.
Have confidence in basic user research methodologies inclusive of synthesizing feedback across various workstreams, interviewing/shadowing users, and sketching low-fidelity wireframes and user flows.
Have platform thinking attitude that anticipates how different platforms and systems work together to accomplish goals for a variety of business needs.
Nice to Haves
Experience working with a wide range of internal tooling, including custom-built and out-of-the-box enterprise solutions.
Experience piloting and rolling out features across multiple user groups.
