OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and passionate forward-thinker, who is enthusiastic about building out a Learning & Development function within Automox. Our ideal candidate would be a L&D leader who has been part of organizations where learning and development helped build the culture and acted as a catalyst for positive change.  You will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of the learning and development strategy, approach, and practice related to employee experience. In this role you will be an equal parts program manager, learning experience designer, coach and leader.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

        Develop and own the learning and development strategy and training to align with the business strategies, objectives, and needs.
        Serve as an innovative thought leader with the employee experience through creative approaches on talent management and learning and development.
        Engage, develop and lead the Learning & Development team.
        Partner cross-functionally with the organization to drive future programming and learning opportunities. This includes collaborating with subject matter experts across Automox in crafting new content and curriculum for leadership and employee development.
        Own our Onboarding strategy to orchestrate a seamless fully remote onboarding experience to successfully help them ramp up into their new role at Automox.
        Build capability in people leaders to have meaningful feedback and career growth conversations.
        Bring to life our new career framework, career mapping and supporting resources and curated content.
        Influence a culture of trust, honesty and accountability through the development of our managers.

PRIMARY GOALS: During the first 12 months, the new Head of L&D is expected to focus on the following objectives:

        Develop and implement strategic plans for learning and development, including identifying training needs and developing training programs to address business goals.
        Design and implement leadership development for all levels within the organization from high potential to executive level.
        Support our ongoing efforts around employee development.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

        5+ years of experience within Learning & Development highlighting a combination of learning program management, instructional design, and facilitation.
        Experience scaling learning and development functions and creating a learning culture at a company.
        Strong relationship-building skills to work collaboratively with partners across the organization.
        Ability to comprehensively understand the business strategy and connect it to a talent strategy and future talent needs of the organization.
        Established track record for taking a consultative approach to designing and delivering innovative learning & talent programs with measurable business results that meet stakeholder needs


COMPENSATION

Salary Range: dependent upon experience range is from $120K - $170K plus bonus and equity.
