About Your Work:
 
Design, build and test high-performance device driver software for automated driving applications.
Interface to sensors including cameras, lidar, radar, and positioning systems.
Interface to support equipment and vehicle systems including control modules, actuators, timing, and network components.
Automate device configuration and management in support of configuration control requirements.
Design, build and test high-performance time synchronization systems for data acquisition and real-time control.
Select timing components and algorithms and help integrate them into autonomous vehicles.
Provide support to software and hardware engineers by providing subject matter expertise in timing components, algorithms, and standards.
 
About You:
 
2+ years experience with high-performance timing and synchronization applications.
Expertise in at least one high-precision timing and synchronization standard: IEEE 1588, IEEE 802.1AS, AUTOSAR time synchronization, etc.
Knowledge of C and/or C++.
Strong understanding of Linux timing and synchronization concepts and libraries.
Strong understanding of Linux I/O, e.g. TCP/UDP, serial ports, SocketCAN, etc.
Familiar with Linux OS concepts, e.g. kernel vs. user space, timing, clock types, etc.
Understanding of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, GMSL, GenICAM, etc.
